We started Vexility because the best local businesses often have the worst websites. The coffee's great; the website says “Welcome!” and nothing else. We want to fix that, one high street at a time.
The name
It means flag. That's the job.
Vexillum is Latin for flag. Vexility comes from it.
A vexillum was the flag Roman units carried so people could find them across a crowded field. A good website does the same for a business: it tells people who you are and where to find you, from the other side of town.
Our mark is one ribbon folded over itself, like a flag caught in the wind. You'll see that fold all over this site. It's a reminder of what we're here to do: help your business stand out.
